TMC Announces New Dates for 2021 Annual Meeting
Registration Now Open for Premiere Industry Technology Event
Arlington, Virginia – Today, the American Trucking Associations’ Technology and Maintenance Council announced its signature event – the TMC Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition – would be held April 12-15 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
“Bringing trucking’s leading minds together to discuss important trends in technology and maintenance in the industry is an important part of the ATA and TMC’s mission,” said ATA President and CEO Chris Spear. “As we continue to monitor news related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we believe altering our plans for our Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition is the best and safest way to bring our industry together.”
Originally scheduled for March 8-11, leadership at TMC and ATA have made the decision to move the meeting back to April, while remaining in Orlando.
“If this year has taught us anything, it is the value of being nimble and flexible,” TMC Executive Director Robert Braswell said. “So, I’d like to thank all of our event partners, including the Orange County Convention Center, for working with us to continue putting on the type of event TMC is known for. Based on conversations with TMC members and the allied community, there is strong support to meet in person next year, and we hope that this minor change will ensure that is possible.
“TMC leadership will continue to closely monitor conditions in Florida and around the country and will make adjustments to our program as the situation warrants,” Braswell said.
Registration for the TMC Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition is now open at https://tmc.trucking.org.
