Scholarships
TMC's Technician & Educator Committee (TEC) has partnered with various schools and organizations to provide several technician scholarships to post-secondary programs for commercial vehicle, diesel, and/or automotive training.
TMC/TEC WESTERN TECHNICAL COLLEGE TECHNICIAN SCHOLARSHIP
Up to two (2) 50% Tuition Scholarships ($15,000 Value each) and four (4) 25% Tuition Scholarships ($7,500 Value each) will be awarded for the AOS Degree in Diesel Mechanics Program. Scholarship award to be used for Diesel Technology program tuition only.
TMC/TEC LINCOLN TECH TECHNICIAN SCHOLARSHIP
Up to four (4) half-scholarships to be awarded for a 1200-1560-hour program, depending on location, attendance to one of six Lincoln Technical Institute/Lincoln College of Technology located in: Denver, CO; Indianapolis, IN; Nashville, TN; Grand Prairie, TX; E. Windsor, CT; S. Plainfield, NJ. S
APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE FOR 2026
TMC/TEC WYOTECH TECHNICIAN SCHOLARSHIP
Up to four (4) partial scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $5,000 towards 1,440 clock hours (9 months) attendance to WyoTech’s Diesel, Automotive or Collision Technology Programs, located in Laramie, Wyo. Each of the WyoTech Scholarships being awarded will be specifically for the April start date (the January start date may be available if the April class is full). Scholarship award to be used for Diesel Technology program tuition only. Each awarded Scholarship must used within one year of it being awarded by TMC.
APPLICATIONS NOW ACCEPTED FOR 2026
TMC/TEC UNIVERSITY OF NORTHWEST OHIO (UNOH) TECHNICIAN SCHOLARSHIP
The amount of scholarship applies to tuition, up to $20,000 in College of Technologies (Automotive/Diesel Technology) and/or College of Business (Specialized Studies in Automotive Management) to all incoming new students (present students excluded). Entire package must be received by the TMC office by April 15, 2026. Awards will be announced by May 15, 2026.
